What the anonymous demo on this site collects, how long it is kept and who else touches it. This page covers the public site and the sample demo only. Customer product use is covered by the agreement signed with the firm.
The anonymous demo
What the sample demo collects.
The Ask Lighthouse demo on this site does not ask for a name, an email address or an account. Two things are collected when a question is submitted.
A hash of your IP address and browser identifier.
Used only to limit how many questions one visitor can send in a short period. The IP address and browser identifier themselves are not stored, only a one-way hash of the two together.
The question text you type.
Sent to Anthropic to generate the answer, under Anthropic's commercial terms. It is not stored on our servers after the answer is returned.
Retention
The demo keeps almost nothing.
The rate-limit hash is not read again once its window closes. It holds no IP address, browser identifier or question text, though the row itself is not deleted automatically. The question text is not written to a database or a log we retain.

The demo route does not write the question or the answer to a database table. It is held only for the length of the request that produced the answer.
Anthropic does not train models on this traffic.
Under Anthropic's commercial terms, API inputs and outputs sent by the demo are not used to train Anthropic's models.
Sub-processors
Three named providers, no others in the path.
The public site and the demo run on the following providers. There are no other sub-processors handling this traffic.
Vercel
Hosts and delivers the public site and the demo API route.
Supabase
Backs the signed-in product. Stores the demo rate-limit counter: a one-way hash of the visitor hash plus the time window, in a Supabase table.
Anthropic
Receives the question text to generate the demo answer, under Anthropic's commercial terms.
